XuTerm (hereinafter referred to as "this App") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

This App is an SSH terminal client tool. All data is stored locally on your device. We do not actively collect, upload, or share any of your personal information.

1.1 Information you provide

• SSH connection details: host address, port, username, password/key (used only for establishing SSH connections, stored locally)
• Quick command configurations: your custom quick commands (stored locally only)
• Port forwarding rules: port forwarding rules you configure (stored locally only)
• Terminal preferences: font, theme, shortcuts and other preference settings (stored locally only)

1.2 Automatically collected information

• This App does not automatically collect any device information, location data, or usage behavior data.
• This App does not include any third-party analytics SDKs.
• This App does not use any advertising SDKs or tracking tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only for the following purposes:

1. Establishing and managing SSH / Mosh connections
2. Saving and restoring your configuration preferences
3. Providing terminal emulation functionality
4. Providing SFTP file transfer functionality
5. Enabling configuration import/export via QR codes (performed locally on your device only, not through any server)

We will not use your information for any purpose beyond these.

3. Information Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All data is stored locally on your device, protected by the app sandbox storage mechanism.
• Data Encryption: Sensitive data (such as SSH passwords) is encrypted using AES-256-CBC.
• App Lock: This App supports biometric (fingerprint/face) or device credential lock to prevent unauthorized access (must be enabled by you).
• No Online Upload: We do not upload your data to any server. SSH connections are established directly between your device and the target server.

4. Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with any third party, unless:

1. You give explicit consent
2. Required by laws and regulations
3. Required by government authorities in accordance with the law

5. Data Export and Deletion

• You can back up your configuration data at any time using the app's export feature (exported files are saved only on your device).
• You can delete your hosts, keys, and other data at any time.
• Uninstalling this App will remove all local data.
• QR code import/export functions process data only within your device, not through any intermediate server.

6. Network Connection

• This App connects to your specified remote servers via SSH protocol. Connection data is transmitted directly between your device and the target server.
• This App does not relay your SSH connection data through any intermediate server.
• Mosh connections use UDP protocol to connect directly to the target server.
• Security of all SSH / Mosh connections is guaranteed by the SSH protocol's native encryption mechanism.

7. Permissions

• Network: For establishing SSH / Mosh connections. The target servers are specified by you.
• Notifications: For foreground service to maintain stable SSH connections (Android only). Notifications only display connection status.
• Biometric: For the app lock feature (must be enabled by you). Biometric data is handled by the system security service; this App does not access, store, or upload any biometric data.
• Camera: For scanning QR codes to import configurations (must be initiated by you). Camera footage is processed only locally on your device; no images are uploaded or saved.
• Storage: For importing/exporting configuration files and SFTP file transfers (only accesses files you specify).

8. Protection of Minors

We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. If you are under 14 years of age, please use this App under the guidance of a guardian.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will notify you in the app and ask you to agree again. If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, you may choose to stop using this App.
